Default Coon calling

Is the wind big issue when calling Coon? Or do they not pay attention to the wind like Fox and coyote

If you are calling a den area, no real issues with the wind. Get the call close and blast the raccoon pup distress or raccoon fight as loud as you can and if your lucky a coon or two will come out.
Good luck

If you're calling to den sites the wind can help, by not allowing sound to go to den sites further away before you can get to them. as far as calling blindly I don't have an answer for you, or if you are calling at night, as I have no experience with that since we cannot use lights or thermal scopes.
