90 yard shot. Been watching this area for a couple years now and never understood why they weren't there. This one made a mistake as I was leaving.

Killed at 161 yards. Wind was blowing like crazy. Had the 204 on it's eye and it drifted approximately 4 inches...crazy to say the least.

99 yards. Right after I lip squeaked a fox to 45 yards (my son thought that was the coolest thing ever), this one popped it's head out. Aimed for its ear and shot it in it's eye, had about 1-1.5 inches of drift on that shot.

Clouds rolled in and the sun stopped shining, hogs stopped showing so we left.

I can't wait for work and domestic distractions to settle down so I can get out there with you....I'm dying to get the new 204 and those new reloads in the kill book!

First kill with the 243 this year. Was out at my inlaws sighting in. Saw 3 and only connected on this 1. 201 yards. The other misses were at 333, 369-380 and 400 yards. Plan on going back tomorrow or Sunday to try and connect!

115 yards. Was relaxing in a nice spot when my son got bored. We weren't seeing anything so I agreed and started our trek back. On our way back I saw one eating by some trees. I looked through the scope and squeezed 1 off...miss! I was amazed, held appropriately for the miss and didn't miss this time. I guess shooting in 3 different types of bullets and trying to remember where they hit isn't the wisest thing to try... ;-]

Sorry you haven't seen any yet. Hopefully they will start poking their heads out!
