Default Starlings ring in the new year

Happy New Year Gents! Hope yall had a great holiday season. Since I'm still off for another week and a half, I have still been targeting starlings. I average 40-50/day, more or less. Yesterday evening I sat in my cornfield adjacent to my house with some decoys and had a flock respond almost immediately. 3 shots yielded 30 DOA with a few cripples I had to run down. I think I am going to carve another dozen decoys, as they decoy better than any duck or goose I've seen. Plus, there are a heck of a lot more of them in So IL right now.
