Default Best rifle for bobcat

I have a 22/250 and 17hmr which would make the better fun for Bobcats. Most of the shots are 100 yards or less. Thanks

IMO either will do the job but as with any caliber shot placement is what makes the determination as to whether your shot is ethical. personally I would use the 22-250 with FMJ's, to hopefully avoid to much fur damage, but then that is me

No guess work, Holes don't matter 22-250. 17HMR will put down a cat, so will 22 mag and a good 22 long rifle, stingers. Under 100yds.
