Welcome to the forums! Great bunch of folks on here as I'm sure you are already finding out. Was just looking at the pictures of the two greys I got this week and comparing them to what you folks have down south. Have to admit I was wondering the same thing as the others when I saw your post as to the similarities and differences. Beautiful animals by the way and congratulations! Here's what they look like in the Sonoran Desert in Arizona. We only have gray fox where we hunt unfortunately but they are a lot of fun to see in the wild. Amazing animals how they can survive in the desert so well. Side note, that second gray is actually the biggest one I've bagged so far by a good 4 inches. My wife had told me no more mounts or skins so I skinned him up and took the meat for the dogs. No sooner finished than I got a text from her saying. "That fox is gorgeous. Maybe we should have him mounted." A tear slid slowly down my cheek as I closed my havalon blade and slid it in my pocket.

BTW, I was gabbing with Sonny the other day and told him this was my biggest grey yet by probably 4 inches in length. Razzed him about not sending me any pictures lately. I got some beauts. Just a little nudge, you guys should get him to post a picture of his ground hog set up. That ATV is a killin machine. LOL!

Winter has arrived in Patagonia, first snow of the season, we went out for red fox hunting just yesterday night. We've got 3.

About the weight question, 11.3 kilos = 25 lbs.
How much does it weight for you guys? Just curious too

25lb Reds?......WOW that's extraordinary!

Average in my neck of the woods would be less than half that.....maybe 10 or 11 pounds....
