Had to get out and try some calling, Geese are on their way to Texas. Setup along a Fence line, able to look down hill. Just got settled by my fence post and spotted a coyote app.900yds to the west. Hit the Female Howl, was not sure wind was up and if he would hear it.But he stop and turned my way. One more Howl and he was on his way slowly but he was committed. Hit some Distress sound to keep him interested. And when he stopped in a small clearing. I let the 204 bark and he did the spin of death. 1st one down.

This male was came in on set #2. Set up was along a pasture and stubble field. This time I'm sit in a brush pile, call hanging on fence post. Start with howls, then distress, mixed with magpie fight. At appx. 9 min. mark this male pokes his head over the hill in stubble field. I mute the call he takes a few more steps, 204 barks dog down. After that things really slowed down.Three dry sets ,last stand back door and he's still running.

-20 this morning, but very light wind. So with a few hours to play a way we go.
Set up was on edge of stubble field and grass area, Set Fusion on large rock and sat down in the shade of tall a weed patch. Started with Howls ,distress and then tossed in Magpie fight. At appx. 12 min. mark this pale female shows on a hill about 1/2 mile away. I switch back to distress and lowered the volume then mute, Committed but stops,, I hit the volume switch again, she's on her way, she drops down in a low spot and then pops up on the hill about 80yds away. I let the 204 bark and its snow nap and picture time.
