Default Follow up on threads you create

In my opinion, when you open a new thread, especially when looking for advice or other help from the forum members, you owe it to everybody to follow up and let people know what advice you got and if your problem or question is handled to your satisfaction.

We all should be posting on the forum to help others.

Obviously, this post created no responses from any forum member. Nobody is doing what I suggested that members do, so I will delete it.

Don't do that. I think this post has value and merit. Leave it up awhile longer anyway....I hope I wasn't one of the disappointing ones for you. If so, let me know how I can improve and we will consider it. Thanks for this post. I would also ask that people put there approx. location or at least the state they are in. JMO

I support your thread 100% Al. If only one or two start following up on their posts it is well worthwhile. I also like Preydecption's idea of sharing locations and/or state.

Al,
Leave it up.
People are slow to change, but given the right motivation, they will adapt.

I appreciate the comments of support, so I will leave it up. The people who are not following up know who they are, but maybe they don't realize it is just not right to make no follow up posts letting forum members know how things worked out. That is how we help each other.

One fellow wanted to know how to get sounds off a Johnny Stewart cd onto his Foxpro, and I posted a link that should have helped him. No follow up has been made by him on that thread. I could send him a PM, but that shouldn't be needed.

Preydeception, I am afraid that you are spot on correct. I sent one of the fellows a PM five days ago, but got no reply. He probably didn't even see that he received a PM. Oh well, I guess it really doesn't matter anymore.

Preydeception, you are obviously correct. I hope the Good Lord gives me the patience needed to accept the things I have no control over. I'll admit that is hard to do.
