Nope, lambs don't sound anything like kid goats, I haven't figured out how to duplicate the sound even with a hand call. -- This may sound stupid (laugh all you want, it works) but if the sheep-herders in your area keep bells on their sheep, get one of the bells they use. Works great as a "cover" sound (especially on deer hunts), and I've been able to attract a few coyotes just by ringing the bell.

Yeah, after I posted that I went searching for lamb sounds. Does anybody know if Ewes make much racket when giving birth?

No, not really. Unless, you're pulling the lamb yourself.

Treestander,

I saw that western rivers had some sounds that could be downloaded. There are 2 lamb sounds there. I'm not sure if that's what you are looking for. We don't have any sheep ranches where I live so I can't say if they are distress sounds or just plain old lamb sounds but you can try them.

go to the download section. Hope it works for you.

Hi

I'm from South Africa and have some sounds that maybe worth something. Anyone of the Foxpro staff can contact me to make a plan. I would like to offer it to you in FXP format, but cannot convert it myself.
