Default Once a Doc always a Doc

Have some info for those that were in the service between 1889 and 2009 that were stationed or deployed to areas where they took Antimalarial drugs. So please if you took antimalarial drugs between those time periods your health may be compromised Contact the local DAV Service office at benefitsquestions.org

Or send me a PM and I'll get more info to you

Roger that Doc.....took the "Poo Fever" pills before JEST training in the Philippines.

Maybe that will explain why or what I am today.....

On a side note: Can you believe they turned the JEST, SERE and other training areas into tourist attractions?...they even have a "JEST CAMP".....something tells me from the brochure I saw online it just isn't quite the same training we received....

Copy that Gunner
Sent you a PM and You're probably spot on about it not being the same as well as Jungle Survival, and the Mountain & Cold weather Survival training out of Bridgeport and Minnesota have both also probably been totally revamped and with a lot of the stuff curtailed, Probably no more having to cut holes in ice and jumping in fully clothed with pack or only having 1 MRE for 30 days.
Take care brother
Doc
