Default Add some kind of wings to the decoy

I bought plastic decoys. They work great for a while but adding movement to it is even better. I punched a whole horizontaly and insert a light wooded rod (hagner would work) from side to side. I shaped a wing on each side and covered it with black plastic garbadge bag. The wind makes it move a little bit so il looks like the crow is flying. I seems to attrack more stupid crows..
Good luck !

Talking Convert a decoy to a winged decoy its easy !

Just wanted to let everyone know you can convert a plastic decoy to a winged decoy . The parts are listed below. All you have to do is paste the shortcut in your browser to get to the site. These are the same parts they use to make the edge Air crow.

$6.99 per set

$4.99 per rod

Have a great day

I had a decoy once that was a ball that moved erractically, with a black foam outline of a crow. This was to mimic one on the ground in distress. I never had a lot of time to use it though. I can't say one way or other if it was effective.

some crow decoys that have the peg on the bottom that goes into the ground...if you go to a hardware store, find a loose spring that fits around the peg and then put a dowel on the other end to push into the ground and you got your self a bouncy crow decoy. Need a very loose spring not the stiff ones. If you want you can connect a line to the decoy and give it a tug every now and then to make it bounce.
