Default Need some PA coyote hunting input

Any PA coyote experts out there? At the beginning to middle of our predator season I could call in some coyotes. Lately, I have been finding coyotes but they won't budge. They will howl sometimes challenge howl, occasional bark or yip but I cannot get them to move. I have all the coyote calls on my fury but cannot get them to move. PM's are welcome too.

Well, you asked for an expert, which I certainly am not, but do you use a decoy? Maybe if your getting challenged a yote decoy might work?? Just a thought. Hopefully your PM inbox is full of tips..

I'm not an expert and have never hunted predators in PA. That said, if the same thing happened to me, regardless of the part of the country I have an opinion as to why that is happening. Coyotes are pairing up and establishing territories right now. Move in and call from where you are hearing the howls coming from. Quattro made a good suggestion. Use a decoy! Challenge a challenge howl with a challenge howl.

Coyotes have been hunted all season and they may be educated a bit. It's time to change up tactics.
