Default My first fox and it's a triple!!!

Well not to rub it in or anything but I was the grand prize winner for the 2012 Foxpro Furtakers drawing and wanted to try out some of my new gear. I went out Saturday and hiked a few miles off a heavily used desert road near phoenix. To make a long story short it was now 9am and I had chosen a wash at the mouths of two narrow canyons to make my 3rd and final stand of the day. I sat the Fury2 caller 15 yards away and started with various bird distress sounds then switched it to screaming grey at the 9 minute mark.

Within 30 seconds I had my first ever grey 30 yards away and I took him with my 870 using 3" federal #4 buck. I quickly switched to fox pup distress and seconds later another fox appeared 16 yards away, I took him as well then switched to fox/rabbit distress and a third one appeared 13 yards away! I shot him too, this all happened with 48 seconds of the first shot! It was amazing!

Default Similar thing happend to me on the weekend.

Took the family to mums for sunday lunch to catch up with the rest of the family. After lunch, while the family was play in the swimspa I had a enough time to jump on the four wheel motobike and go for a quick call. Set up on a old dry creek bed with my 12g and Prairie Blaster. I shot 3 of 6 on the first stand. I did'nt see any on the second stand. But the action was quick on the first stand.
