Default How long after a missed shot do you go back

what up guys, so this past weekend I took my hunting buddy to do some yote calling, I went to a new spot... after the 3rd. stand 2 minutes into call one yote came in like a ghost and left like a ghost.. I was setting up my bud in the kill zone so he could have his first yote.. there was lots of brush'trees so I was covering another open spot that I thought a yote might come through.. well all i heard was "there's one!, 2 shoots go off, I turn around and I caught a glimse of the yote but he was heading for mexico after them 2 rounds from the 20 gauge... my question is how long after a missed yote have you guys gone back for it and been able to call him in again... it's only been 4 days and I feel like I took that shot and want to go back to look for him..

Sometimes it can be soon like Fur Down said. Just setup different and use different calls. Maybe some coyote vocals or crow sounds for kind of a more secure effect.
