Default EOTech 512?

Looking to buy an EOtech for night hunting on my shotgun. I have tried other red dot sights but they are too bright even on the lowest setting. The model 512 has 20 brightness settings for daytime. Will it dim low enough for night? I see the FoxPro team uses EOtech, which one do they use?

95Elan I use an Eotech 512 on My Shotgun at night. It works great for both eyes open shooting and maintaining depth perception on the close in fast moving predators. I use a red LED kill light and turn up the brightness on the 512 more at night so the red reticle stands out against the RED led kill light. If you use a White, Green, or no kill light it will go low enough.

That's what I use on my shotgun. Works great at night with the red light.
