Default New Guy from SE Mass

Good Evening,

Santa got me a FoxPro Shockwave this past Christmas and I'm still trying to figure out all of the features. I have hunted the past 17 years over a bait pile in my back woods. Mostly when there is snow on the ground and some moonlight. I have taken about 16 coyotes using a Kimber 22LR, all head shots.

I have twin boys 13 years old that have hunted with me in Maine and Mass since they were 5 years old. My son Mike got his first bear this past Sept. in Maine. The next day after the guide dropped off all of the hunters at their stands he set up an electronic caller. He called in a coyote, Mike missed a running shot at 150 yards after the coyote busted them. That's when I decided I would get an electronic caller.

The boys and I will be heading to northern Maine to pick up Mike's bear from the taxidermist this Feb. I plan on some hunting using my shockwave.

Mark

Welcome Mark, I am from Western MA, and I have a cabin about 2 hours East of Bangor. I will be in Acushnet Sunday to pick out my new Lab puppy! I'd love to give you advice on coyote hunting but I have little to offer. I come here to learn from the masters. I also have a shockwave.
