Default Racoon help

I figured this was the place to get answers on my little bandits. Last night the dog started freaking out, grabbed the nine and went to find the bandits. It ended up being coons not tweakers. The dog treed momma and one baby on the front porch. Cracked mom and baby with the .22. Best 2 cents I ever spent. Well later I went to clean up the porch went into the garage and two more babies were still trying to open the dog food. No gun no shovel I closed the door and went to reload my shovel haha. They disappeared, here's the question are they going to starve or come back every night? Because I'm the only learned food source so far.

They will be back. And probably bring some friends along also. If you don't want to stay up nights waiting for them. Get a live trap. Around here you can borrow them from animal control.

use a conibear trap a 160 0r 220 size in a bucket if you have no pets around to get in the trap----the trap kills them no mess or fuss---sb
