You are earning each and every coyote you take when hunting in that much snow. WTG!!! Do you figure the misfires were because of the cold?

Wow! Old dog and unusual miss-fires. Glad you gained success any way. Are those handloaded ammo? Any idea why they didn't fire the first try? Unreliable primers?

Default Miss Fire

Yes I think it was some ice build up, as I check Primers, no dent marks.Third time lucky. And yes I hand load. I also feed one in later and shot a tree, Bang was good.

Old boy! If you look a "nightmare" in a coyotes dictionary, I'm certain there'd just be a picture of you. Congratulations on all your success!

Default Nightmare

[IMG][/IMG]
Finally got my truck back and the wind laid down. Before my truck died, had a few days that were totally empty. But wind really did a number. And no truck for a month. I got a call from a farmer saying he was having coyote trouble at his farm. So with my truck back and no wind off we go.Set up along a fence line start with some Howls, got and answer and here she comes. At appx.250 yds. she stops and wants to leave .She's running and I let the 204 bark ,Mr.Berger finds its mark she spins but starts running again,a swing and a miss, I send another one and again Mr. Berger puts her down. Now on with the snow shoes and walk in some deep snow, I find her in a willow slough.Snow nap . The Nightmare is over! Breeding season and rubbed fur. Waiting for BEAR CAMP.

Beautiful picture of coyotes on snow. It doesn't get any better than that for me. Thanks for posting.
