Default Pre Xmas Five Pack

Gang,

With the nice weather predicted, I ventured out for a night of calling. Backtrack to mid-day when I had to sight in the ATV/Howa combo because it is giving me huge problems. I got it dialed in and off I went for a serious hunt. I started at 5 PM, but nothing happened until 7PM when the first gray fox went down. On the very next set, a cautious coyote came in directly downwind and I took the shot!

With a gray and a yote down, I figured I had a good chance at a slam. Hours later it happened when a red came to the call. It wasn't that easy because my ATN scope froze right as the fox approached. I got it re-booted in time and took the shot. I was happy and could have called it a night but I wanted to go to one more farm. It was a good choice because I doubled there... a red and a gray!

Nicely done. I'm told that turning off as many apps as possible on the ATN 4k Pro helps prevent the lock-ups.

Great story and great pictures, Andrew. You must be more patient than me, as that scope freezing up would have me fuming.

Very, very nicely done Mr. Andrew!

Have heard of similar issues from others, with ATN. But I'm impressed that you were able to endeavor to persevere under the circumstances.
