WAY TO GO Cal! Three coyotes in one stand with a bow will be hard to beat.

CONGRATULATIONS!

That has got to be the most difficult archery feat ever accomplished.
I witnessed a guy take 3 gray fox on 3 successive stands but this has it beat by miles.
Congratulations Cal. That's amazing.

FP should have an award or something for the most incredible use of their equipment.

I'm in total agreement Jay, (about the FoxPro Award), just trying to think what would be appropriate. A new pickup? 4 Wheeler? Maybe just a suitcase full of unmarked 50 dollar bills? All expense paid archery Brown Bear hunt!

Just kidding of course! The fun of that hunt was plenty of reward in itself. I will be trying to do it again. My buddy and fellow FP field staffer Cenny Burnell shot two with a bow on one stand a couple years ago and I was more than happy to top his feat. I haven't yet heard of anyone else doing this and that is also pretty cool to me.

Cal,
Actually I was thinking about maybe FOXPRO might award you one of their new hat clips or possibly a pair of those sweatpants they had at the Expo.

I thought about your achievement and quite honestly I cannot come up with anything close (archery or not) that would equal what you managed to do. An 80 yard shot at a running elk can't compare to taking 3 coyotes on the same stand in the type of terrane, no treestand, calling them in knowing they are on high alert, during the daylight, etc.

If I was to tell someone that I know this guy who...
They'd think I was nuts or worse.

Cal, I have bow hunted with some of the best, Doug Kittredge, Jim Daugherty, and Dr. Lowell Eddy, but I never saw any of them come close to what you accomplished on this deal. Maybe Foxpro will give you a new pickup with a paint job showing you putting the arrow to those three coyotes. Kudos to you.

1 stand but it was 96 hours long. Just pulling your chain Cal.

Congrats to you.
