I'm in southwestern ohio. Coyote are tough and you have to constantly come at them. They stay near cattle farms around here.

Grays are rare in Ohio. They are radio collating them this year to study why the populatio has declined. I have called and taken grays in southwest ohio, pike co., sciota, etc.

I felt like the two must be sharing the woods to some degree as I have collected photos of both from "scent posts". I have had the majority of fox show up downwind but sometimes they just charge in....
