This is of course WHY I am not interested in light bullets in my 35 caliber, I use 59 grs of RL 15 behind a Kodiak Bonded 250gr slugs,that has them rolling along right at 2600fps, or basically the same as a standard .338WM loading, and for just this reason,

Cool story to tell the friends, but not sure how much truth is in it! Those pictures have been on the internet before...

Do you for some reason feel that it isn't true??? I had not heard that??:confused:

The only real part of this story are the pictures, and they have been around since 2001. Actual size was estimated @ 10' 6" and 1000 - 1200 lbs.

Gosh glad you straighten that out Jerry, I had seen that posted on different places so until you brought it to our attention I never questioned it. Anyway its a big bear and good reason to use bonded bullets !:D
